Kiss Freeport, ME. We're going Irish!

Freeport is going Green! That's right, it's that day of the year when everyone is Irish! Many different stores are offering sales in honor of the day and many restaurants are offering special menus!

Check out Gritty McDuffs and their Irish fare, or travel just a little ways down from there and celebrate the day with Pedro O'Hara's, Freeport's very own Irish-Mexican restaurant! Wherever your St. Patty's day adventure leads you, you'll be sure to find plenty of green and fun happening in Freeport this Wednesday!

Be safe, don't drink and drive! Call us here at the Freeport Inn to reserve your room for St. Patrick's day!

Winter Wonderland Best Western Freeport Inn

I know many of you enjoyed a day of shoveling or a holiday from work or school today!
We received around a foot of fluffy snow here in Freeport Maine. Amy, the Cafe manager
has already gone out this afternoon and "groomed" the snow shoe trails. We don't have
any rentals available at this time, but are working on it. In the mean time grab your snow shoes and gear and enjoy the Winter Wonderland with us at the Best Western Freeport Inn! Work up a hearty appetite on the trail and head over to the Cafe for some Homestyle cooking to warm you up!

Call 207-865-3106 for reservations at the Inn!

Pet Friendly Walking Trails

Best Western Freeport Inn is a Pet Friendly Hotel! We have 32 pet friendly rooms out of our 80. Since the weather is a little warmer this weekend (40%) I thought it would be a great idea to enjoy some of the local walking/hiking trails available to you and your dogs. Starting off in Freeport Try out Winslow Park or Wolfe Neck state park with some breathtaking ocean views.
A quiet trail along the Royal River park in Yarmouth that runs from East Elm street to Gooch's falls. For some bird watching and winding snowy trails try Freeport's Mast Landing Bird Sanctuary, just 2 miles from LL Bean.

More Adventurous? Try Bradbury Mountain State Park in nearby Pownal.

For Portland area go to www.mainepets.com for a listing and detailed map of more options.

We have a snowshoe trail on site at the Inn that meets up with the Conservation trail behind the YMCA.

Enjoy,
